SKIING<\/h2><\/span>

The 65 alpine ski slopes of Aram\u00f3n-Cerler and the longest, 9km uninterrupted descent in Spain, make this resort a national leader that has won it the World Ski Awards.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Nordic skiing is guaranteed in Llanos del Hospital with 30km of ski slopes, wonderful facilities and a beautiful landscape thanks to being nestled in the Posets-Maladetas Natural Park.<\/p>\n

Ski mountaineering, with an increasing number of followers every day, is a way of feeling and enjoying the mountainsides, hills, trails and summits.<\/p>\n

It requires a good physical fitness, good knowledge of the equipment and training in the environment for the activity to be as safe as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>

TREKKING, MOUNTAINEERING AND CLIMBING<\/h2><\/span>

Different routes that start from the door of our Hotel in every sense, and cover the valleys through the network of PR and GR trails that used to join towns before the arrival of tarmac.<\/p>\n<\/div>

We are located at the entrance to the Posets-Maladetas Natural Park. A valley with more than 60 peaks above 3000 metres. The Aneto Glacier is the largest glacier in Spain, and the Ib\u00f3n de Creg\u00fce\u00f1a lake is the largest in the whole of the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n

The most beautiful and varied valleys of the Pyrenees, including Est\u00f3s, Eriste, Vallibierna, trips that are a must to Aigualluts, Batisielles, Gourgotes, the classic climb to the Port of Benasque, mixing flora and fauna dotted among the huts, \u2018ibones\u2019 glacier lakes and idyllic waterfalls.<\/p>\n

Rock climbing, ice climbing and the most spectaculars “via ferratas” in Spain.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Various Mountain Races are held in the Benasque valley, which include the following:<\/p>\n

    We form part of the Association of the Puro Pirineo<\/em> Mtb regional project.<\/p>\n

    From our house you can head for the signposted and dedicated routes. There are more than twenty routes and they are differentiated by colour depending on the difficulty. It is important to match the physical and technical level of the route to the person for the activity to be fully enjoyed.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    Jumps, abseiling, gorges, in the different descents of the Aig\u00fceta de Barbaruens, Liri Waterfalls or Aig\u00fceta de Eriste are good examples.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    HORSE RIDING<\/h2><\/span>

    MYCOLOGY<\/h2><\/span>

    There is an abundance of Boletus, Cantharellus, Lepiotas, Tricholoma, Marzuelos, Moixard\u00f3ns\u2026.. If you are a fan of mycology and you enjoy mushroom picking, from March until November is non-stop if the weather is right for a weekend away.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    MOTORBIKING<\/h2><\/span>
    <\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Just 4km away is the N-260 \u2018Eje Pirenaico\u2019 (Pyrenean Axis) through which the infamous Trans Pyrenees route passes. It goes from San Sebastian to Barcelona, via the best ports of the Pyrenees on a beautiful journey that joins the Cantabrian sea with the Mediterranean sea.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    FISHING<\/h2><\/span>
    <\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The rich river levels allow fishing to take place. There are many fishing reserves and preserves distributed throughout the Benasque valley, making it a prime spot for lovers of this sport.<\/p>\n

    You can fish at the head of the \u00c9sera river valley, as well as in the social reserves for free fishing or put and take fishing. Check the permitted seasons, baits and sizes of equipment.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    PARAGLIDING, HANG-GLIDING, MICROLIGHTS…<\/h2><\/span>

    Castej\u00f3n de Sos<\/em> is one of the most beautiful and impressive places in the world for free flying thanks to its terrain and weather conditions. You will feel the wind on your face and that unique sensation of tandem free flying, paragliding, hang-gliding or microlight flying. In addition, you will fly over the towns of Aras\u00e1n<\/em>, Liri<\/em> and Castej\u00f3n de Sos<\/em> and the Esera<\/em> river, along its 1,350m altitude.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    VILLANOVA<\/h2><\/span>

    A typical small town in the Aragonese Pyrenees with a hundred inhabitants, sheltered, with narrow streets, facing the rising sun and with wonderful views of Pico Gallinero, the main feature of Cerler Ski Resort and the Sierra de Chia.<\/p>\n

    The old town contains good examples of the popular typical architecture of the area. These include Casa El R\u00edu, with its 16th century fa\u00e7ade; Casa Betr\u00e1n, with a porticoed courtyard and a 17th century fa\u00e7ade; and Casa del Se\u00f1or, belonging to the Bardaj\u00ed family.<\/p>\n

    The Romanesque Lombard Parish Church of Santa Mar\u00eda is noteworthy (12th century) with a great altarpiece from the 16th century and the Church of San Pedro, of the same style and century and influences from Romanesque Jaca.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    BENASQUE VALLEY<\/h2><\/span>

    Situated in the region of Ribagorza (Huesca)<\/em> and surrounded by beautiful landscape with a huge variety of botanical species and fauna, where you can enjoy relaxation or all types of mountain activities at any time of year.<\/p>\n<\/div>
